Healthy Homemade Dog Meal Recipe – No. 1

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 ounces (70 grams) organic lettuce
  • 4.6 ounces (130 grams) mixed organic vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli)
  • 7.1 ounces (200 grams) pure organic chicken
  • 0.06 ounces (1.7 grams) organic devil's claw
  • A pinch of organic eggshell powder
  • 1 organic basil leaf
  • 1 organic parsley leaf
  • 2 organic lemon balm leaves (dried or fresh)
  • A pinch of dried nettle
  • 1/2 teaspoon of organic milk thistle oil
  • 1 teaspoon of organic flaxseed oil
  • 1 capsule of EPA/DHA supplement
  • 5 organic pumpkin seeds
  • A small amount of water (as needed)

Instructions:

  1. Start by washing your hands and ensuring that all the ingredients are clean and safe for your dog.
  2. Wash and peel the carrots. Chop the carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli into small, bite-sized pieces.
  3. Steam or boil the vegetables until they are tender but not overcooked. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  4. After cooking, blend the mixed vegetables until they reach a smooth consistency.
  5. Wash the basil, parsley, and lemon balm leaves.
  6. Finely chop the basil and parsley leaves.
  7. Tear the lemon balm leaves into small pieces and add the dried nettle.
  8. Cut the pumpkin seeds in halves and add it.
  9. Put the mixed vegetables, lettuce (if the mixture appears too dry, you can add a small amount of water and mix until you achieve the desired consistency), chopped herbs (basil, parsley, lemon balm), and pumpkin seeds in a large mixing bowl or directly in the dog bowl and blend it.
  10. Then add the canned chicken, devil's claw and a pinch of eggshell powder.
  11. Drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of milk thistle oil and 1 teaspoon of flaxseed oil over the ingredients in the bowl.
  12. Cut open the EPA/DHA supplement capsule and squeeze the liquid contents into the mixture. Discard the empty capsule shell.
  13. Gently toss all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
  14. Last but not least: Serve to your dog!

P.S.: The serving size will depend on your dog's size and dietary needs, so consult with your veterinarian for the appropriate portion.
